The great cheesecake debate

We are having a debate. Well, we were, until this morning when a strictly monitored tasting, staff vote and conclusive results settled the great cheesecake debate: fridge or baked?

Charise (married to one of the Yuppiechef directors) and Sean (our photographer and videographer) have discussed this – with varying levels of foodie passion and intensity – at many Yuppiechef gatherings over the past year or so, and this morning the much spoken of testing took place.

Charise and Sean both procured the best fridge and baked cheesecakes (they felt) money could buy and we tucked in…

In the end, baked beat fridge. Do you feel sad? Vindicated? Hungry? It must be said that the votes were close. And that a series of unfortunate events meant the fridge cheesecake arrived frozen (a bit of a disadvantage, even for a fridge pudding).

We certainly had fun doing the judging. If you were a cheesecake eater, and had been with us today, which would you have voted for (by sight and history, of course)?
