Kitchen chalkboard inspiration: A jolly Christmas

With all the excitement at Yuppiechef HQ of late, we almost forgot to revamp our kitchen chalkboard. And since we’re slap bang in the middle of all things merry and bright, we thought we’d use this opportunity to make our very own Christmas chalkboard and wish everyone out there some holly jolliness.

All sorts of wonderful Christmas music has been bouncing off the walls of our warehouse these last couple of weeks, Feliz Navidad, being a particular favourite. We found the music helps us put that extra special oomph into our festive season deliveries, like our new happy gift hampers. Have you seen them?

But because we love the season of jolly so much, we simply had to go with this classic, originally recorded by the Quinto Sisters. The one we all know and love however was later recorded by Burl Ives. It’s true. Christmas trivia is no joke, folks.

So if you’re planning on doodling something Christmassy on your kitchen chalkboard this season, go ahead and pick your favourite ‘jolly’ tune, combine some vintage, festive fonts and send us a pic. We’d love to see which ditty puts a spring in your yule tide step.
