We were mightily impressed with all the entries but one stood out from the crowd. Congratulations to Steve Dirnberger, our banana art champion. You crushed it, just like King Kong would that banana. A super duper banana-themed hamper of kitchen loot will be on its way to you soon.

Take a peek at the fruity gems below and this round-up of all the banana entries. Everyone who took part will be getting a little something special from us.

An honourary award goes to the godfather of banana art, End Cape. His pin-pricked Mona Lisa was so impressive that we are delivering his prize to him all the way in Japan.

We particularly loved Sasha White’s little banana in pajamas. We give you a collective pat on the back for such an excellent execution and for bringing B1/B2 to life. We also love your furry creative companion.

Tamlyn Wilson’s freestyle banana ballpoint sketch also caught our eye. Looks like we have an artist in our midst. High five for the hard work.

This bunch of bananas had us tickled pink. Very clever, Lindsay.

Also, is that a banana bread recipe we see? Yum.

Kristi took a less traditional path when it came to her banana art and we love it. How cute does little Mash look?

Minion banana art. Best idea ever, high five Keagan. We now have a little tune stuck in our heads. Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-nana. Banana-ah-ah.
