How it works: Morphy Richards Electric Citrus Juicer

In the depths of winter, nature brings us the bright citrus fruit. Full of vitamins and minerals, our citrus friends were key to preventing sailors from getting scurvy back in the old days and they sure do help fight off all sorts of winter ailments. But if wrestling the skin off a minneola is too much or the sour spike of a grapefruit frightens you off, get acquainted with the Morphy Richards Electric Citrus Juicer.

How it works:

1. Buy firm, ripe fruit and slice them in half through the middle. Place a glass below the metal spout to catch your juice.
2. Plug in the juicer and choose the right reaming head (there’s a small one for limes or small lemons and a large one for oranges and grapefruits).
3. Hold the fruit firmly in the palm of your hand and push it onto the reamer. The reaming head will spin as you push down, squeezing out all the juice and directing it towards the spout and your glass.
4. When you’re done, flip the spout upwards to keep drips and spills inside the juicer. Drink up your glass of health.

Getting enough fresh fruit into your diet can be hard but when juicing is this quick and easy, is there any reason left not to? That’s what we thought. Happy juicing, friends.
