This sharpener brings your knives back to their original condition.
If ease of use is your primary consideration, one of these hand held sharpeners is the correct sharpening tool for you. With two grooves, medium and coarse, you take the knife through both a few times and a minute later you have a sharp knife again!
It is suitable for all brands and works especially well for Global knives. It's not ideal for knives that are serrated, or have a bolster that will get in the way or for single bevel knives - that is, knives that have only one sharp side.
The water in the wheel compartment serves to rinse the revolving ceramic whetstones and to prevent over-heating the knife blade. Detailed instructions come with the product.
What distinguishes the MinoSharp from the MinoSharp Plus is the size of the ceramic wheels. The larger wheels of the MinoSharp Plus put a larger edge on your knives giving them a longer lasting edge.

Great = MinoSharp Knife Sharpener
The MinoSharp Knife Sharpener is an awesome product with several good reviews online from kitchen and culinary professionals. A huge plus is being able to replace the worn ceramic inserts when needed. The only limiting factor is that the slots in the 2-stage cover will not allow thicker blades access. Versatile little sharpener
I have had my sharpener a long time, and am on my third set of wheels now. It is brilliant on the thinner Japanese blades, but I have also found it works pretty well on German and French knives too.
