Product Info
Made in Japan, Global's 20cm Chef's Knife has a deep, tapered blade that fuses seamlessly into its iconic, textured handle. The knife is light to hold, comfortable in the hand and — thanks to its unbolstered, weighted hollow handle — is nicely balanced. The razor-sharp, double-edged blade will make light work of every cutting, slicing and chopping task in the kitchen.
Global G-Series knives are an excellent choice for the discerning home cook or professional chef. This Chef's knife is the multipurpose workhorse of the kitchen, perfect for mincing, cutting, chopping, slicing and prep work.
All knife measurements are for the blade only, not the handle.
- The blade is constructed of a single piece of steel, with a unique convex edge for unsurpassed performance
- Made of hollow handles which are then filled with sand to achieve the desired weight and deliver the perfect balance
- The blade is made of the finest stainless steel called Cromova 18 (Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium), designed exclusively for Global
- Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56 - C58 degrees which holds the razor-sharp edge of the blade longer than any other steel
- Ergonomic, stainless steel hygienic handles with signature dimple pattern offer a comfortable, slip-resistant grip

Do you even cut?
If you like to eat food, cook food, have food around you, slice food, dice food, chunk food, mince food - then you need to own a good knife. You HAVE to get to the knife sharpener (stone if you're fancy, or the ceramic wheel one on a budget), as you will notice the second it's no longer sharp, you may as well use a butter knife to cut that tomato. But after sharpening this beaut, you're in cuttingRead more

Excellent cooks knife
My first quality knife. Simple and effective. Not as brittle as my other Japanese knives so keeps a good edge for awhile. Light and well balanced. Do yourself a favour and learn how to sharpen it properly!
