Disappointment from Smeg
Gorgeous to look at but can’t do basic toasting! The inner element of our toaster short-circuited after less than 2 years! We now have to turn the bread around and toast twice. Seems to be a common problem and major product default. Prior to that did not toast uniformly. Very expensive for what you get!

This product works ok
Considering the cost of this amazing brand , I found the toaster to be overpriced for what it offers and the quality is not up to scratch as my first one short circuited and had to be replaced. Not what one expects from Smeg!!

Don’t waste your money
Whilst SMEG are renowned for their aesthetic ‘retro’ designs, the functionality of this toaster leaves much to be desired.
1. Bread is not evenly toasted
2. Toast pops out so violently that it usually ends up on the floor
3. It doesn’t have a little re-heat rack as even the cheapest toasters have.
