Removing the air from around food and sealing it in an airtight bag ensures it will stay fresher for longer and won't lose its colour, taste or nutritional value. These plastic bags work with the Severin Vacuum Sealer, which is the perfect companion for the Sous Vide Cooker, which requires ingredients to be vacuum-packed before cooking.

I bought these bags to use with my Severin Vacuum Sealer. This is quite a big size, and I experimented with making one bag into two. It works really well.
Seal the open end, but the bag into two (in the middle), and proceed to seal in the normal manner. Voila!
2 bags from one bag. This is useful if you would like to seal small food items or small portions rather than large ones.
