We find this magnetic bar is very useful in a small kitchen, better than a block. We love this product. Sturdy design, hides the screws, excellent quality.

Great quality, sturdy product as would be expected from Wusthof.
30cm holds at least 5 knives comfortably.
No drama with the installation. It does need to be drilled into the wall.
The magnetic grip is super strong, no concerns about slippage.

Everyone should own one! It is such an obvious item that has just become the norm in the kitchen! Plus we don't fight anymore about "where are the kitchen scissors!!!" Hubby wants one now for his braai area and tongs. Easy to install as well.

Based on another review, I installed the strip vertically and it is perfect for my bottle opener, scissors, 4 small knives, and 4 large knives, none of which ever slide down the strip.
