Ten million times better than the fake rubbish stuff more easily available. With this product you can still taste and smell it after it's been baked or blended into marzipan, whereas the other stuff has disappeared into nothingness.

This little bottle of extract is worth every cent. I liked my bottle of almond essence but this is several steps above and the taste is much smoother.

I loved the aroma when I opened the cap but was even more pleased with the end result; the flavour transfers well into the end product. Stick to the recipe amount as one could easily over do it. (less is more)

I bought this product specifically for a biscotti recipe I wanted to try. I have made biscotti before, but this made a huge difference to the taste in the new recipe. Very concentrated, so stick to your quantities. Best buy for this week.

I cannot review the product as it is intended for use in my next Christmas cake. That will only be made in November and iced in December.
The almond extract looks suitable and smells great, as did the last almond extract which I bought overseas in a specialist kitchen shop, and which I finished at Christmas 2019 . Shopping with Yuppiechef was uncomplicated and everything went off smoothly. It is a good option for buying hard-to-find kitchen items in South Africa. Read more

This product is excellent.
It has the most delicious delicate flavour of almonds.
I used it in place of vanilla extract, just for something different and it was really yummy.
I will most certainly buy it again.

I found a recipe online for homemade Amaretto which called for almond extract. I struggled to find it but eventually, much to my delight, saw it was available on Yuppiechef. Believe me when I tell you, my homemade Amaretto tastes exactly like the original!!!

So-called almond essences cannot match the flavour of real bitter almonds in Neilsen Massey's product. Make your own marzipan using this product, or use it to enhance the flavour of baked goods made with almonds, and experience the difference in taste.

If you like a marzipan flavour in your baked goods, this is a product for you. It is very intense so only a little is required, I add a few drops to pancake mix, banana bread, anything really!

A quarter teaspoon in a medium-sized cake is more than enough, you will pick up the almond flavour. I always have a bottle in my baking cupboard.

Nielsen Massey extracts are outstanding. They're pure and have strength of flavour, and are far superior to any synthetic essence. I find the almond essence and the orange essence, are essential for flavouring the speciality wedding cakes I bake, and any other recipes requiring these flavours. I used to have to ask friends to bring them from London, so I am thrilled to be able to get them from Yuppiechef now. Read more

Not so easy to find almond extract (vs almond essence) in the shops — so very happy to find this quality product online. You only need a drop or two for real depth of almond flavour in your baking.
