This clever clip-sided tin with removable base makes removing and serving cakes and desserts so easy. Simply release the clip to allow the sides to expand freeing the base so the tin can be easily lifted away for a perfect finish. Ideal for making delicate layered sponge cakes, rich tortes, soft cheesecake and traditional fruit cakes. The metal clip is finished with a heat-resistant silicone cover for easy opening and fastening.

Incredible yet disappointing
Although the non stick is incredible, the actual tin leaks, half my sponge cake batter ended up in my oven. The same recipe was used in an Al Cheapo springform which didn't leak. It is advised to use this tin for cheesecake and not sponge batters. Also, it's difficult to clean between the crevices, a toothpick does the trick.

I love my new cake tin!
I love this springform cake tin, the non-stick is SO non-stick and it was super easy to get my cake out. My only complaint is that small crumbs catch in the fold of the metal that are impossible to get out without using a toothpick. But overall a big thumbs up!

Leaky but beautiful!
As much as I love the heavy weight of this pan and the tough non-stick factor, I was disappointed to find the cheesecake filling leaking out the bottom. (It was a baseless "Banting" Cheesecake). The base has an indentation, which is marked, and not ideal for getting cakes out the pan. But to end on a positive note, the 20 cm pan is a great addition to my bakeware collection.

Perfect
Works like a dream, was easy to use and cake came out evenly cooked and so easy to remove from the tin thanks to the excellent non-stick.
When put together properly it doesn't leak. ;)
