Grinds very well. I've done dried garlic, green onions, and red and yellow peppers. Will definitely recommend it if you want to make your own spices.

After two burnt-out motors on other products and one that barely worked, I am thrilled to have an appliance that does what it claims to do and I am able now at last to grind my flax seeds.

Works well, and the lid design is great however it did overheat after about 15mins of grinding salt, so it can't be used for too long at a time.

I've had the cheaper coffee/spice grinders but they do not even compare one bit to the Cuisinart. I use it daily, chopping garlic and ginger for stir-fries, nuts and semi-sundried chipotles which my "cheap" grinder would only spin around.

The bowl sizes are great too. Buy it and thank me later.

This spice and nut grinder works so amazing, that I've bought it now too. I tried the grinder when my daughter bought one and decide this works for me. Mostly I grind coffee beans in it. So helpful with two grinder cups with lids. Easy to use, easy to clean. Well built, looks good. What a fantastic product!

To be honest I was expecting a simple grinder but was surprised to find this comes with two separate grinder bowls allowing you to avoid affecting the taste of your coffee should you wish to also grind strong spices. Great versatile product.

I bought this several months ago based on research and online reviews.

I have a little coffee grinder thingy that I've used for my spices, but I wanted something that could also handle wet ingredients, opening up the world of curry pastes in addition to curry powders.

I bought it on special several months ago, and it is beautiful, and I'm sure very functional.
