I give this 5 stars, just because I cannot give it 50. This is the peppergrinder to buy.

It has ceramic parts, which stay effective throughout and don't get blunt, and you can set it to grind at different coarseness levels.

It works extremely well, and it does so every single time.

These will more than likely be the last salt and pepper grinders I will need in the next 25 years. (Sold as single units, to be clear).

The upright design is also great. Makes me wonder why other grinder designs prefer facing down. This grinder does not leave a mess.

Adjustable grind size, no mess, easy to clean and refill. Well priced.

Excellent quality grinder, does a good job, but also love that the grinder is at the top of the container. Most grinders are at the bottom, and leave salt/pepper remnants on your shelf. This one doesn't, nice and neat, looks elegant.

The coarseness adjustment has set increments where the mechanism clicks into place which means that once you've found the perfect size it's easy to set it like that again. Bought it because of the 25 year warranty which really means they believe the ceramic mechanism will last.

Absolutely love these mills — I was getting frustrated with my usual grinders and constantly replacing them. These CrushGrind ones have a setting to adjust the coarseness of the grind and a 25-year guarantee on the ceramic mill parts.
The only downside is that it doesn't have a lid — so in a moisture-rich climate, the salt accumulates around the mill.
