Not worth it
This cup has two big issues, the straw keeps getting stuck under the lid and liquid starts leaking out of the straw even when closed. This is because there is no valve to release suction so with any subtle movement the liquids start coming out the top.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Toddler dropped her cup and it broke.
While easy for my little one to learn to sip and thus get the liquid up the straw, she dropped it and a piece of the lid broke off and now the mechanism does not work. Such a pity, so it's not really durable.
