Great product. Compact. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Most importantly it makes perfectly crisp waffles that don't stick to the machine and without causing a huge mess!

Winning waffles

Tested at YC review club.
Made good looking, crispy waffles, it was easy to use and non-stick.
Only downside is that the handle was hot to touch.

I ordered this product on YuppieChef. I unboxed it, read the instructions and proceeded to make my first batch of waffles.

I plugged the machine in, turned the plug switch on and BANG, the plug shorted with a big spark and I puff of smoke. The plug was blackened and my whole house tripped. After unplugging the machine and restoring my power, I inspected the plug. I’m no qualified electrician but I know my way around basic electrical work — and from the looks of it the plug had been wired terribly. All three wires were squished together near the screw, causing a short (to be honest I am not sure why the machine did not come with a sealed plug, I had to hazard a guess it would seem that the plug had been replaced aftermarket, perhaps from a European plug to a SA one). Anyway, I hope this is an isolated incident, but if you decide to buy this product, inspect the plug before use. Read more

This is a super easy waffle maker that is easy to clean and not only that but also provides crispy waffles with decent square indentations for your flavouring of choice ie honey/melting ice cream etc. Highly recommended.

Using the included recipe, this waffle maker makes beautifully browned waffles, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. I do add a half teaspoon of vanilla to the mix and cook a bit longer than the suggested time. The waffles come out easily and leave no residue behind. Just a wipe and it’s clean again. Worth every penny and would highly recommend it.

I’ve waited nearly a year and a half to get my hands on this, but it was worth it. I follow a keto lifestyle and there is no other waffle machine that can make my grain-free waffles so well. You should get one!

I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this waffle machine. Although it's more expensive than most — it's 100% worth it! Makes delicious, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside waffles, every time! If you're looking for one, this is the one to get!

After having 2 previous waffle makers that couldn't reach the optimum temperature or have batter sticking to the plates. This waffle maker is so much more reliable.

Having made sweet snd savoury waffles — which were a hit in the lunch box —I can definitely say the Krups waffle maker lives up to its name. The price tag — it's worth it.
