Disappointed in Zoku.
I'd give this mug 5 stars for looks and it does keep drinks hot. The spout isn't messy at all and it's a good fit for smaller cupholders which is nice.
I downgraded the review because Zoku marked the mug with a branded stick on the label saying it dishwasher proof. My main motivator for buying at as the others are all handwash.

Thanks so much for alerting us to this. The print which says “handwash only” is from a carry-over from the early days of their product line when they had only plastic items.
Your review prompted us to investigate and we're happy to confirm that all Zoku Stainless Bottles and Travel Mugs are dishwasher-safe (top rack).
It's recommended to hand wash to preserve product lifespan, however, dishwashing doesn't compromise functionality or safety.
