Okay, it doesn't go tick tick because it's silicone but it feels like it does. It plays very nicely with my Sagenwolf Non-stick pan and the two of them orchestrate beautiful meals in my kitchen.
The little ring on the end acts on a push and pull to store the tongs in a closed position when not in use.
I like it, it makes me feel like a pro!
