What a wonderful machine!! Have used it a few times since I bought it and so far it has only given me pleasure. No issues and no weird setups. Easy to use and VERY easy to clean! Would definitely recommend this!

Excellent Pasta Maker

We bought a few pasta makers for our Cooking Studio and hosted a Pasta Making Class for a group of pasta first timers. The machines worked like a dream and everyone had tons of fun! I love the simplicity of using this machine. To change thickness, you simply pull out the knob and adjust to the required thickness. Cranking the roller is equally easy. It would be nice if there were more cutting options, but the two options on the device are sufficient for basic applications.

Throughout the entire Lockdown, I had a bucket list of items I wanted to achieve - make homemade pasta. And when this Yuppiechef one came on special - I immediately jumped at the chance and bought one! It's so easy to use and really does the job. It's sturdy and good quality - and at a great price!

Works well. Good grip, nice convenient size, etc. However, the instructions state it cannot be washed with/in water! Must use a dry brush to clean it, and all those little crevices. Doesn't make sense, and would not purchase again for this reason.

I gave this pasta maker to my husband for his birthday. We did an online course on how to make pasta (from Craftsy). The pasta maker worked perfectly, and we loved the delicious fettuccine we produced!

What a jol! Should have bought one years ago. Easy to use, well constructed & a definite must have in the kitchen. A possible additional that would be nice would be an instructional DVD for use & recipes.

Well done, Yuppiechef! This pasta machine is just as good, if not better, than some expensive 'branded' machines I've used before. Its sturdy, easy to use and the dial is really smooth and easy to turn. Made the best ravioli ever with this gadget and I cant wait to try more!!

I really enjoy using my Yuppiechef pasta maker. It works well and is relatively easy to use. My only criticism of it is that it is not that easy to clean and the cleaning instructions are a bit vague. Nevertheless, I have made delicious pasta with it and it was a good price!

This product is very well made. The rollers do squeak when you spin them dry, but when the add the pasta it seems to work better. It is made completely with metal so it is very hardy and I'm sureIi will be making pasta frequently in the future.

I have bought A LOT of things from Yuppiechef, but this has to be my favourite purchase. Not only is it quick to assemble, but it makes three types of pasta and is such value for money (and making fresh pasta is so easy I don't think I'll ever buy store-bought again (true story)).

My husband loves making pasta with this machine. It takes a bit of time to make dough and process it through the machine but the machine works really well. It's so delicious to have fresh pasta and worth the effort - it is also quite fun!

Our first machine had a small defect but Yuppiechef switched it for a new one for us and we had fantastic service as always!

This is my first foray into the art of making pasta and this little machine is so easy to use! I had no problem with it, except that when you roll the pasta out it tends to gather underneath the machine so you have to use your other hand to guide it out. Not a big deal. Would definitely recommend this machine! I love mine.

Great pasta machine for starting out. It also comes with an instruction book showing you the recipe and pictures step by step on how to make pasta. It is something I would recommend if you are starting to become interested in cooking and would like to try and make pasta.

Well priced product.
Easy to use.
Shipped and delivered on time.

While not the Rolls-Royce of pasta makers, this certainly delivers everything needed.
Batch management of dough is important to good outcomes.
This machine should not be used to work raw pasta dough or kansui.

Good buy, would buy again.

The pasta machine is easy to use. It is a bit of "PT" making the pasta, but so worthwhile. So much better eating freshly made pasta compared to store bought packet pasta.

My partner and I had fun trying out our new cooking gadget. He is a great fan of Italian food, so took more interest than usual in the kitchen. In fact, he took over the rolling and cutting of the first batch – which we served under a slow-cooked Ragu. After dinner, I rolled out the left-overs, dried them slightly and then froze them for another day.

i have made some incredible pasta with this machine it is really good fun. Only negative is as the handle is designed to be taken out, it can sometimes pop out when using it, but otherwise works beautifully.

Absolutely delicious pasta. I read the reviews and wondered how different homemade pasta could be... Very is the answer! This machine is easy to use and produces delicious homemade pasta. It is a fair amount of rolling but the result is so worth it. Can't wait to experiment with more types of pasta (we made Fettuccine). Lovely, easy to use product with great results. However with the model I received, it only had 7 settings, not 9. And the widest setting was "7", not "1". The user manual and how-to video all say that "1" is where you should start. Once you figure out how it actually works, it's easy to use.

The machine is smaller than I expected (good, it takes up less room). The clamp to hold it to the table is very sturdy and actually works. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

There are two gripes. First, the handle falls out quite easily and unexpectedly. Second, the video says to start with setting number 1 on the dial and continue thinning the dough to number 9. However, the machine is actually set from 7 down to 1. Please update the video :-), it was rather disconcerting to find myself working backwards.

My mom has had a pasta machine similar to this one for about 12 years and its still works beautifully. After reading the reviews for this Yuppiechef pasta machine and the amazing price I could not resist buying my own one. Used it a few times already and am super impressed especially with the spaghetti cutter that cuts smoothly and does not get stuck. Amazing product and amazing price.

Whilst I need to practice not rolling the pasta skew in the machine (made fresh lasagne sheets on my first attempt), I have found this product great! Was worried about not getting a motorised machine, but this is a breeze to roll through. 2nd attempt I made wonderful fresh tagliatelle, which was so quick and easy! I am converted!

This Pasta Machine (based on the Gefu) is a nightmare to clean.

You literally need to take it apart to clean properly, because if you don't, you'll either end up with hard pieces of Pasta in your roll-outs, or you'll have rust.

Terrible product.

Got it on Thursday and it stood on my kitchen counter until Saturday.

I watched at least 12 to 15 YouTube videos on the use of pasta machines and homemade pasta recipes and methods. I ended up using the simplest recipe: 1 egg to every 100g of cake flour.

That's it. I thought the pros on YouTube make it look easy, but I now realise that they actually made it seem more complicated than it really is!

Yes, it takes time, but it is so worth it. The machine works like a dream and the resultant pasta cannot be compared to any shop-bought pasta. It is so easy to use and easy to clean. It is excellent value for money and after using it only twice (in a week), I cannot see why anyone would want to pay more for any other brand of pasta machine.

I cannot imagine that any other machine would give better results or would be easier to clean or maintain. I would be interested to know if the "Marcato Drive Motor Accessory" will work on this Yuppiechef branded machine.

I will definitely experiment with some other recipes (spinach tagliatelle and butternut lasagne sound great) as I now have the confidence to try anything. Read more

I love the price mostly, I think it’s good to have a reasonably priced pasta roller so everyone can try their hand at making fresh pasta.

I’m not overly impressed or disappointed in the product. It works well and the settings work as they should.

We’ll have to wait and see how long it lasts but generally speaking, I think it’s good.

I have no experience in making pasta, so decided to choose this pasta maker from Yuppiechef and pay much more than I would from another retailer as I hoped that paying more would mean better quality.

Unfortunately, the metal on the blades of this pasta maker is not very strong and bends when putting the pasta dough through, so the dough catches and tears.

I returned the machine and will be spending more money on the more expensive model which will hopefully ensure this problem doesn't occur.

We are inexperienced with making pasta but are disappointed at the price paid for a poorer quality pasta maker. Read more
