I love the forks, but the bottom end of the knives is very heavy and quite a bit thicker than the forks. Also, although I love Yuppiechef products, I do not like that the knives have been branded with the word Yuppiechef in the middle of the blade. The knife branding also looks totally different to the fork, spoon and teaspoon branding. I like a big knife and fork, but this set is an XL and I guess would not be comfortable in all hands. Great quality cutlery set under the Yuppiechef branding. And the price was remarkably good too. You definitely feel like you are getting more than you pay for which is surprising in this day and age. (Note that the 20 piece set only comes with 4 knives, table spoons and forks, and then 8 tea spoons - we had expected 5 of everything.)

Nice but way too large

I wanted a basic, decent quality everyday cutlery set. This set is well-made, nice and shiny... and it's obscenely super-sized, which does not show on the website photos. I compared it with my existing forks, etc – and these are a good 1.5cm to 2cm longer, and also larger (across the tines etc). The dinner spoons are the size of salad servers basically. I might retire them for emergency use when we run out of knives and forks but their size is really off-putting and unnecessary (why does anyone need a giant fork?) Would love these if they were normal size. Read more

Not dishwasher safe.

We bought this cutlery set in-store, specifically so we can clean it by dishwasher without worrying about damaging it.
After a few months of use, unfortunately, the knives (and only the knives for some reason) have started to develop rust spots.
Quite disappointed, as it is 18/10 stainless steel and is supposed to be dishwasher safe.

Bought the cutlery set and the matching serving spoons. Perfect for everyday use or as a gift. I've been using mine for a few months, goes into the dishwasher daily and it still looks good as new.

I bought two sets of the Yuppiechef classic cutlery set. They feel heavy with quality and come out of the dishwasher as new - no water stains. Having enough teaspoons is also a big bonus. You can use this as your daily set and as your special guest set!

We had received a previous set as a wedding gift and decided to expand our collection. It has been quite disappointing that Yuppiechef has reduced by a small amount the stainless steel weight of the cutlery, this can only be noticed if you had the original weight but nevertheless I can definitely tell the difference. All part of shrinkflation I guess...

We had a bad experience with another cutlery set (different brand) and we decided to try this one by Yuppiechef. I must say this is the best cutlery I've ever found! It's simple, easy to clean, well made, the proportions are great, well designed and comfortable to use.

We like the product. Classic style and good looking.
We find that getting 8 teaspoons in a 20 piece set is excessive. eg if we want 12 table place settings, we end up with 24 teaspoons, which we don't need.

After twenty years, my original daily stainless steel cutlery is no longer twelve of everything. I have looked everywhere for a quality, classic design that will complement my original set. Although they don't match, and I don't expect to find my same original set, this set is a classic, simple design, has a nice heft and looks fine with my other set. Job done!

I bought the Yuppiechef cutlery set, and am loving it.
I was concerned about watermarks being left if I washed the cutlery in the dishwasher, but they came out beautifully clean and shiny - no marks.

I bought two of these sets: One was of the older stock and I would give that set 5 stars. Good, heavy, strong and shiny. After I saw what good quality the set was I bought another set in the same week. The new set that I received was of the newer stock in the pink box and I wasn't as happy with this set. The dessert spoons have these lines on the surface which you can feel and see. Yuppiechef did exchange the set for me but the new set had the same issue. The quality of this set has definitely declined. Read more
