I love the look and feel of these containers. They are strong and durable and built to last. The see through top is practical to view the contents without opening. They seal airtight. Amazing product.

The bowls are sturdy and one can "burp" the container before storing in the fridge. The fact that it comes in different colours also is pleasing to the eye. That is why I shopped both sizes.

These are great. They nest together perfectly when not in use and they seem very air tight so far.

I have used them in the fridge, freezer and cupboard and they've been very good.
They are easy to clean too.

Three super quality bowls — air- and liquid-tight seals mean they are great for taking snacks to work or keeping food fresh in the fridge. The fact that they are microwave safe (without the lid) means that they will be great for warming up soup at the office or at home in the winter months. Highly recommended.

These Mepal storage bowls are excellent. They are sturdy with fitted see through lids snd nest within each other for storage. I now have 10 and would use no other. They move seamlessly from fridge to freezer to microwave to dishwasher and the bowls are attractive enough to be used at the table. They are a ‘must have’.

I have just bought another set. They are perfect for storing salads like potato salad or coleslaw because you can serve them from the bowl and they can go back in the fridge.
Great for leftovers in the fridge, you can see what is in the container without taking the lid off — and ditto for the freezer. The different sizes are useful.

These bowls are great and convenient. I was looking for a bowl that I could store leftovers in as well as reheat in, and this has been exactly what I was looking for.

They are designed nicely and the bowls do not get too hot to touch from the microwave.

I have the deep bowl version of his set which I have had for a few years. They are amazing and so are these! The Lids are strong and secure and have no cracks, nor do they have clips that tend to break on regular lids.

These are honestly dream containers. They are used daily and spend a lot of time in the dishwasher - my old set is still as good as new and these shallow ones are the perfect addition. They beat any other food storage options, hands down! Read more

So happy with this set of three bowls that I went online and ordered another 2L rectangular Mepal container right away. They stack easily, close easily, harder to open but that’s good because the seal is tight. Money well worth spent!

While I haven't kept food for long enough to see if these bowls delay spoiling, and I haven't tested freezing or microwaving, I can say that these bowls have decent size and fit nicely into each other. I've bought this set for a second time now, mainly because of how easy they are to clean. Besides being dishwasher safe, they also appear to have a non-stick coating so food just wipes off easily.
