Unlike with standard detergents, unpleasant odours are not overlaid with another scent but neutralised thanks to the interaction of the stainless steel soap with water and air. The stainless steel soap acts as a catalyst, which converts the odour molecules into neutral oxygen compounds.

Some sort of sorcery.
I don't know how it works, or why, but this little metal "soap" really does get the smells off of your hands like magic. No more onion-y fingers for me!

It works brilliantly.
Lives next to the kitchen sink. Peel an onion... use this solid metal soap lookalike to "wash" your hands... all trace of onion scent disappears! I've ordered four more for Christmas presents.
