The Wusthof Gourmet Paring Knife tapers to a point at the tip and is easy to handle, making it the perfect knife to trim, slice and peel small ingredients such as garlic cloves and herbs, as well as fruits and vegetables. This paring knife is designed for all close-hand tasks and the straight edge offers full control for any decorating and delicate shaping.

Care Instructions
Dishwasher Instructions
Although some Wüsthof products are dishwasher safe, we do not recommend that your knives and scissors be put in the dishwasher. Blades can knock together, damaging them, and if not washed soon after use, corrosive food particles can damage the blade. Rather wash your knives as soon as possible after each use with warm water and a little detergent, rinse carefully and dry with a towel.

Simple and standard
You might expect paring knives to be simple, standard items but in my experience the cheaper options are useless. This one is more expensive but so far it has maintained its edge and does its job with ease.

Still working perfectly
I've had this little knife for almost a year and used it for all kind of things that need precision from peeling tight cloves of young garlic to de-boning chicken thighs, and then for mundane tasks when it is just what comes to hand at the time. It is still performing perfectly and I think I have already had value for money. It was an excellent buy.
