Bought this product to use in my moody oven to get that perfectly cooked chicken. And I was skeptical at first because it looked flimsy but after taking it out of its packaging, it felt quite durable. But only time will tell. It worked like a charm, the temperature updates quickly. It's easy to use and the timers and alarms are loud enough to hear from several rooms away. I used to use one of the basic round meat probes, but always found it a bit erratic. I've found this product to be very reliable, accurate and easy to use. I love that you can set the temperature to taste that you want for a particular type of meat and the alarm notification will let you know when it is done. Excellent!

This product works really well, especially for indirect cooking in a kettle braai. The only critique is that the automatic internal meat temperature settings is a bit high, which might lead to overcooking. Rather enter your own temperatures.

This thermometer and timer work exceptionally well, one gripe that I have, when your meat is ready and you need to pull the thermometer out, by placing your fingers on the end rubber of the thermometer to extract, the rubber slides off and you can burn your fingers. Use an oven glove to extract the thermometer.

It's a thermometer, certainly helps in cooking the perfect steak, or chicken. No more salmonella poisoning from under cooked chicken.

I found the small print in the instructions very difficult to read, old eyes! Steak temperatures were great but the lamb 'Medium well' was more suited to SA tastes we found. I'm going to buy it for my daughter in law.

Great Functions and Good Quality product.
The display is easy to read and the probe is really easy to fold back & store away. The added magnets at the back make it really easy to keep safely out of the way when checking the oven and also has a nifty stand.
Just keep the packaging for the usage instructions, once you get the hang of it, it is quite user friendly & loud enough to properly hear.
My meat on all 3 occasions I used it came out just perfect so I would say it is accurate enough to work on most meats.

Great product. The first one arrived faulty. It's internal speaker must've been broken as it didn't alarm or make a sound. The replacement works great though. Great little device!

Superb product & very well made. One small criticism, though. The timer alarm / bell sound is far too soft.

Needs to be much louder in a busy kitchen.

Very handy thermometer with quick accurate readings with a probe that is a decent length. Nice and clear display. Very handy kick out stand as well as neodymium magnet mounts on the back.

I am very happy with the purchase.

The customizable alarm is very useful, but what sets this product apart is how quickly it gives a reading. It will give a reading in about 5/6 seconds.

2 magnets on the back came out when I stuck it on the fridge but I just glued them back (cause I was too impatient to send it back) and all good.
Works like a dream.

Excellent product but temperatures for rare beef in manual and in thermometer need revising. Firstly the temperatures in the manual disagree with the thermometer.
Secondly, either of the temperatures results in beef that is medium rather than rare.
