It really is durable

I bought one of these more than 10 years ago, when I was in Australia. It hasn’t shown any sign of wear with daily use, usually two espresso shots per day. Looks neat and tidy as well, when not overflowing with coffee grounds (which is hardly its fault — you have to empty it yourself).

The knock box is certainly sturdy and well constructed but I think it's too small to be effective. The coffee grinds don't all go into the box — some land on the work surface which in my opinion — this shouldn't happen. I'll buy a larger box next time.

This does exactly what it says it should do and is a convenient way to get rid of grinds when you have finished making coffee.
