After too many pairs of broken cheap supermarket scissors, it was time for an upgrade. These are super sharp for accurate cutting, very strong, and can be used by a left-hander - bonus! I'm very satisfied with them.

Lost my 1st pair after a year of using, immediately ordered a new pair. They are still sharp as the day I got them and my 2nd pair must be about 2 years old now. Comfortable grip, beautiful looking. They just rock!! I use them for cutting anything and everything.

This had been on my wish list for a while, and it is as sharp and sturdy as I expected it to be! I am a little disappointed that one handle came loose, and it is discoloring very quickly. I've only washed it by hand (so no harsh dishwasher detergents) and the white seems to fade into a white color. It has also started showing traces of rust.

I Love these kitchen scissors. They are so comfortable to use and they cut extremely well. They unscrew so you can clean them properly after cutting meat etc. Love these scissors — took the red for the custom Victorinox look but am sure the black will be just as good. Considering to get the black ones as well and use one for meat and one for the rest of the chores :-)

This product has a lifetime guarantee but I have now 2 of them and the screw that holds together the two blades, breaks very easily.

I am a huge fan of Victorinox products, I have a range of their knives and they last forever. I also have an old pair of this very scissors, which is still working perfectly.

However, the latest one picked up rust spots after the first wash. It was collected and replaced with efficiency and no fuss from Yuppiechef. BUT the replacement is the same.

I will personally take that one back to the store and replace it with an alternative product/brand.

Victorinox really needs to review the issue. Read more

Handles are small and close together, so less comfortable than some cheaper versions.

But these are REALLY sharp and I hope that the esteemed brand will stay so much longer than the cheaper versions.

The title says it all. R220 for a pair of scissors is not cheap. But then neither is the quality 'cheap'. I have struggled with kitchen scissors for a long time and although I have only had these for just over a week, they are very promising.
