I highly recommend owning Victorinox knives, this starter knife is both functional, and a bright and cheerful addition to any kitchen draw. I always have one handy, for cheese boards, or in the picnic basket.

I was so thrilled with this knife, that I bought the 11cm one for my mother and mother in law also! Perfect for tomatoes, slices beautifully without any effort or squashing. Only tip is ensure you buy the proper length. I found the 8cm a bit short for round tomatoes. Hence I am now buying the 11cm one for myself also.

The sharp, serrated blade makes it easy to slice even the ripest tomato and chopping onions are so quick now, I hardly shed a tear! :) Fantastic little knife!

There is nothing worse then prepping dinner and your knife is blunt... Don't let 8cm fool you as these knives are sharp and perfect for veggies, fruit and meat. I have two of them and will certainly be purchasing more.

This pretty pink handled little paring knife is so sharp, it cuts all that I have used it on with ease. Very thin slices of tomatoes, sharp tip for removing any little knot or blemish and peeling oranges is a breeze.

Where have you been all my life? Now it is a breeze slicing tomatoes, onions, etc. Just watch your fingers, I was not paying attention while peeling mangoes and got "bitten" by my knife! :)

I grew up with Victorinox knives and it's just always been a favourite companion in our family kitchens and at dining room tables. I prefer smaller paring knives as they handle better than big knives for me and use both the rounded tip ones and pointy ones daily. The Victorinox knives remain sharp forever (despite the fact that I wash my knives in the dishwasher!) Every so often I do replace them with a new set but they generously last up to 3 or 4 years before they are too dull for my liking. Read more

Simply put — just buy it. All of it. From the forks to the knives to the bigger pieces. Victorinox has been in my family for generations. My kitchen is loaded with Victorinox and I keep purchasing more. That should say enough ;)
