  • 100% Blaufraenkisch reflects the diversity of Burgenland's soils, which bring a certain minerality — and therefore depth and finesse
  • The grapes are harvested from about 30 different plots, with vines aged between 5 and 35 years
  • It's a fresh, delicate and crisp red wine
  • Typically spicy, it's full-bodied on the palate, with a dense weave of well-integrated tannins and a juicy, crisp, peppery finish
  • Profile: Fine and deep
  • Nose: Lively and expressive. Black cherry, blackberry, white pepper, liquorice and violet
  • Palate: Full and crisp. Morello cherry, redcurrant, black olive, blueberry and tobacco
  • Finish: Fresh and juicy. Spicy, sour cherry, blackcurrant, black elderberry, leather and herbal notes
