Long enough for scooping out jars.
The smaller scooper and spreader proved so useful, I subsequently ordered the large one as well as I needed a longer handle to get to the bottom of taller jars etc, especially thick nut butter - and for spreading them.
The round part on both works very well for quickly scooping out pips from fruit and veg like papinos, gem squash and even butternut.
