Works well, have to engineer butter a bit.
It works fine, but a stick of butter like we have here in SA is not the right size, too thin and too long, so for my next refill I would just cut a block of butter into 6 width-wise. But it is a cool gadget for smearing butter in the bottom of a hot pan without the risk of taking too much from the tub. Actually this gadget has obliviated the need for a tub of butter in my house.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
