The Duchess Botanical Alcohol-Free Gin & Tonic

Exceptionally flavoursome and refreshing with ice and a slice of cucumber. It really does taste like a GnT! The only negative is the price. Sadly it's not sustainable as a regular in the fridge, rather only for special occasions.

This non-alcoholic version of the fabulous gin & tonic is awesome. Plus, with zero sugar and calories, makes for an added bonus. Refreshing and crisp. Perfect for the hot summer days. Serve ice cold.

This is great, a non-alcoholic gin and tonic that tastes almost like the real thing. Does not taste artificial at all, and does the job of hitting the taste buds with no calories and no alcohol, when that is what you need!

I bought these for my wedding to serve to guests that do not consume alcohol but still want a refreshing cocktail/cider. Really impressed with the versatility of this drink. Good on its own with lots of ice or mix it up with a sweet cordial and fresh fruit!

Pregnant and due in February, I was dreading summer and not being able to have a G'nT by the pool. So I was ecstatic when "The Duchess" was launched and, thank the virgin cocktail gods, it's absolutely marvelous! I've experimented with adding sprigs of rosemary or mint, slices of cucumber, lemon or lime, even a dash of bitters (pink virgin G'nT). It doesn't really taste like a proper G&T but are tasty nonetheless. Makes me feel like I'm also drinking something special when we're at a braai and I'm the designated driver. Would purchase again.

The Duchess offers a wonderful solution to summer thirst: sugar-free and alcohol-free, but it tastes just like a good old gin and tonic! An excellent choice of pre-lunch aperitif and great for sundowners at the end of a hot summer day. Would be great if restaurants and hotels put it on their menus too!

I was so excited to find an alcohol free gin to enjoy during my pregnancy, but sadly the taste was not to my liking. It was too bitter and lacks the freshness of a proper g&t. In order to make it palatable I added some grapefruit juice which worked.

You would never know you were drinking a non-alcoholic G&T, the taste has not been compromised and is the same as an alcoholic G&T if not better. Great product, would highly recommend!

I don't drink, but I used to. So being a non drinker in South Africa is a problem, you go out with friends and when you ask for a non alcoholic beverage the answer is always the same. Fruit juice, coke, pepsi, seven up, appletiser or if you are lucky non alcoholic beer or a rock shandy (which is slightly alcoholic).
You know I am not a child, I am a non drinker and I still have taste buds. Even the so called best restaurants should have adult drinks. The Duchess is one of those light, refreshing with a good botanical taste to it, lots of ice and lemon. Heaven! Even my G & T drinking family love it. Read more

So I bought this on a recommendation that there wasn't any nonsense in it, and that they used xylitol. But now the ingredients say sweeteners, so, very unfortunately, I won't buy this again. It's a lovely taste, quite on the bitter side and also quite sweet, but not sugar sweet. I dilute it with soda and it's very refreshing with lemon and a lovely gin. I was pleasantly surprised to taste the non-alcoholic Gin & Tonic. It has the taste without the 'kick' which is fantastic. Drink very cold, over ice and a slice of lemon and you would think you are drinking the real deal. Love it!

I stopped drinking more than 2 years ago and have been struggling to find something that I could substitute especially for braais and social events. The Duchess is not only a great non-alcoholic drink but also healthy since it has zero sugar. I managed to get through December not only sober but also a kilo or two lighter. Plus the cocktail recipe book included gave me more options in terms of how to dress up the drink. Well worth the price. Read more

I pondered on this for a while as I was debating with this one and the new rose one but opted for this one as I'm not one for too sweet BUT this one has quite a bitter taste to it. Maybe I need to add something interesting like a slice of orange or some berries but I can't say I'm rushing to finish these 12 :-(

Love the packaging so much and all the ingredients are actually healthy, no nasties. I am NOT a gin & tonic drinker, so if you don't like regular g&t, you'd probably not like this as it's bitter. I had to force down the 2nd bottle...
But I absolutely love the concept of it and will definitely try another 'flavour' from the Duchess that is not G&T if they bring it out as I'm not a fan of alcohol. Read more

The product is great, the packaging sucks. I'm all for saving plastic, but when I took this out of the bubble wrap, the very thin cardboard along the bottom was not intact and 2 of the bottles fell on the bridge of my foot and of course broke.

I would not recommend this unless the supplier looks at their packaging very carefully.

Being pregnant I was looking forward to this drink. It doesn't resemble gin and tonic and leaves the taste of lemonade in my mind. Disappointing purchase. Especially considering I have bought the bulk 5 pack special!

Bought this in the bulk pack but was somewhat disappointed. There's a funny aftertaste that resembles a touch too much juniper. Adding gin helped a bit but kind of defeats the point.
