The Moccamaster KBG 741 brews a good old fashioned, fresh cup of coffee. It comes with a glass carafe and an automatic drip-stop brew basket that stops the flow of coffee if the carafe is pulled away. It brews a full 1.25L pot of coffee in six minutes. Coffee is then held on the unique hot-plate; which is engineered with a separate, independent element that rolls heat into the coffee to ensure an even taste from the first cup to the last drop. The hot plate has two settings, giving you the choice to hold your coffee either at 80° or 85°C, while never burning. After 40 minutes, the hot plate will automatically turn off.

Care instructions

Great product!
A really great product However it's very pricey. Not sure if it is better than a cheaper "perculator" machine but my husband is really enjoying it. The first unit we received was damaged but I returned it to the Sandton branch and the in-store staff were amazing and immediately ordered me a new machine for delivery. It was just a pain as it was my husband's birthday present.

Quality and convenience!
This one ticks all the boxes. Simple to operate, quick to clean, and most of all, the coffee tastes great. My three cups to start the day is now an easy process. The 5-year guarantee and replacement breakables like the glass jug, which seems readily available from Yuppiechef, promises durability. Furthermore I love the vintage look and the fact that it is handmade in Europe.

Amazing quality!
Build quality is stunning, design made to last forever. Coffee tastes so consistent and full of flavour, I can now see the difference between different types of beans and roasts. I use it twice daily. Best coffee brewer out there. Amazing and fast delivery from YuppieChef. Thanks

Excellent coffee
I'm very happy with my MoccaMaster. They say filter coffee is the healthiest way of drinking coffee and to make it, you can't beat MoccaMaster. After having owned several other makes of coffee machines, I'm glad I took the plunge and bought - admittedly - a very expensive one. Not as happy with Yuppiechef's service. A stunning product
Excellent coffee, it's blisteringly hot – and the Moccamaster is ever so cool on the counter top. It scores very high on bragging points. (It replaced a 30-year-old Braun.)
