SteamOne Handheld 400ml Garment Steamer

We had a steamer that after many years needed a new heating plate, and it needed to be imported, so we gave up on it. Since then I have been looking around and this product looked handy.

My wife uses the steamer mainly for delicate fabrics, her silk blouses. And she is happy with this steamer. lightweight, and powerful particularly for something this small compared to our old steamer.

Does the job efficiently, and fast. Heats up quickly and is easy to pack into luggage. She has used it only on delicate fabrics and it has met her demands.

I think it will also be efficient with my heavier dress shirts. I'm still yet to try. The cable is medium length but could be a touch longer.

I searched for a long time before deciding on this steamer and did NOT disappoint!

It's a solid, sturdy product (not plasticky) that is heavy enough to actually push the steam into the garment as you move. It also heats very quickly and pushes out balls of steam. It has a long power cord and is good-looking too.

Sadly, this steamer proved very weak and uneffective when it comes to steaming out creases in clothing.

It's bigger than I expected. I've only tested it on one very difficult garment that usually has a lot of creases & it worked fine.

You need a proper surface (like a mirror or window) to use the holder that is included.

Used a few times over the course of about 7 months. I bought for travel — now useless as it just gets hot but produces no steam.

Best steamer I've found. Easy to keep in the wardrobe and plug in to steam a quick item and small enough to take away with you to steam fancy items when going out. Mine has been used for everything from T-shirts to bridesmaid dresses. I love it!

I did a fair bit of research before settling on this unit. The larger water bottle was a big factor given many reviews for other units lamented how often they had to refill.

Unboxing the steamer you can immediately sense the quality of the product. It performs as desired, easily steaming through a number of shorts and other items awkward to iron. There is a normal setting and then a 'boost' setting for that turbo mode when you need it.

Some features I really appreciate:
1. the connector for a larger generic bottle
2. the suction cap hook for a window or mirror to hang an item before steaming
3. the fancy storage bag to pack the steamer away in

I'm quite fussy about quality and this item ticks all the boxes and 'does what it says on the tin'. Highly recommended. Read more

Disappointment in power.

So disappointed in this steamer I really had high hopes of obtaining optimal steaming of garments as I had Philips steamer before and it worked like a charm.

I guess just because it costs more doesn't necessarily mean it will work better!
