The Smeg Drip Filter Coffee Machine allows you to prepare a deliciously aromatic, richly-flavoured coffee with the option of selecting the aroma intensity you prefer, to satisfy both the most delicate palates and those in search of more intense flavours.
The ideal companion for a hard day at work or relaxed weekend mornings — just supply the coffee and water, and let the machine do all the hard work for you. With a 1.4-litre capacity, it can brew up to 10 cups in the glass carafe. However, the 4-cup function also allows you to make a smaller amount, perfect for treating yourself to coffee alone or with friends. Thanks to the Keep Warm function, your coffee will stay warm for up to 20 minutes, so you can enjoy a cup shortly after it's prepared.

Disappointed in carafe.
I absolutely love the Coffee Machine but this is the second time the carafe handle has cracked. I had to return the machine because of a cracked handle. It was suspected that putting it in the dishwasher was the cause. However, this current replacement carafe has not been anywhere near a dishwasher or very hot water and the handle has still cracked.
