Care instructions
Dishwasher Instructions
Although some Wüsthof products are dishwasher safe, we do not recommend that your knives and scissors be put in the dishwasher. Blades can knock together, damaging them, and if not washed soon after use, corrosive food particles can damage the blade. Rather wash your knives as soon as possible after each use with warm water and a little detergent, rinse carefully and dry with a towel.

The boss of all bread knives!
I may be biased towards Wüsthof knives because they are the only knives I buy, but this knife is a dream to use. My bread knife was the last one I’ve replaced and I can’t believe I’ve waited this long! It slides through the bread without much effort and feels extremely comfortable in your hand! Brilliance!

Worst knife of the year.
From the first slice through my sourdough bread, this knife angles by itself, mid-slice, to the left giving you skewed slices of bread or cake with every slice. At first, we thought the blade was bent, so I replaced it with another — same story.
There is a sticker on the box saying "knife of the year"... more like "worst knife of the year". It's definitely very sharp, I will give Read more

A no-nonsense bread knife
This is a great knife. At 23cm it is nicely long, but comfortable. The blade is stiff (really good for robust bread like the rye loaves I bake) and the edge is excellent. The finish on the handle is all I could want, and the only reason it gets four stars is that that is proper for a top quality knife that is going to be used and appreciated, and not displayed on a rack!
