The Swanesang Syrah is a small-batch expression of deep-rooted heritage. Sourced from a tiny, less-than-one-hectare bushvine block — one of the last of its kind in Stellenbosch — this Syrah is all about precision and care, from vineyard to cellar. Notes of red and black berries, lily, violet and pepper lift the nose, leading into a focused, characterful palate. The result is a wine that quietly reflects legacy, place, and meticulous attention to detail in every sip.

About Scions of Sinai

Rooted in seven generations of Helderberg winemaking, Scions of Sinai is a boutique Stellenbosch label founded by Bernhard Bredell, a seventh-generation winegrower. The focus is small-batch, terroir-driven wines from old, dry-farmed bush vines on the decomposed granite slopes of Sinai Hill in the Lower Helderberg. With a minimal-intervention, chemical-free approach in both vineyard and cellar, Bernhard lets each site speak for itself—resulting in pure, expressive wines that reflect place, heritage, and restraint.
