- Dishwasher safe, however, hand washing is recommended to prolong the lifespan of the pan
- Ensure that there are no protruding or sharp implements in contact with the non-stick surface when placed in the dishwasher
- When washing up, use a soft sponge or cloth with a small amount of detergent
- Silicone, wooden or plastic utensils recommended
- When cooking is complete, empty contents, let the pan cool down and rinse with warm water
- For storage, make use of pan protectors or soft cloths between stacked items to prevent scratches

I have been using the Sagenwolf 24cm pan almost everyday for 6-8 months now. I've used it mainly for bacon and eggs and have been very impressed with the performance. All non-stick pans need to be cared for and I've made sure not to overheat mine. It's non-stick performance has been very good. I clean mine with warm water and a OXO dish brush while the pan is still hot - no soap required. Very happy with this pan. Read more

Update: didn't last. The centre is starting to stick, in less than a year's use. The sticky piece in the middle is indicative of the heat zone of my little induction cooker,so it's likely it overheated at some point. The induction is just soo fast... 😑
Still a sturdy pan, so I'd still recommend it to anyone who promises to *never* try high heat cooking like steak or stir-fry. Or maybe people who use gas.
Think I'll try a carbon steel pan next. Read more

This is a preliminary 1 month review, and I'll try to update after a year.
My last non-stick pan was a Tefal. Generally they seem to last much longer than your average non-stick pan. Non the less, it still lost its non-stick.
I appreciate that the pan is simply smooth; no heat spots, no dimples, nothing. So far nothing sticks.
I like the riveted, steel handle. I don't have to worry about it getting loose or melting. I can even put it in the oven if necessary. Read more

For the price, you can do much better. I bought another pan 1/4 of the price and it still works perfectly. The Sagenwolf pan started sticking after a year (I did take care of it). My friend had a very similar experience with the pan. It has good heat retention, but it started sticking and looked very worn after about a year.

I have only had this pan a short while so I cannot comment on the longevity. So far I am super chuffed and 100% happy with my purchase. Nothing sticks and it is an absolute dream to clean.
My only criticism so far is in the care instructions that came with the pan. It says "do not use on too high heat" but then it also says the pan can go into the oven up to 260C.
So what is "too high heat" then? If the longevity of my pan (and subsequent warranty validity) depends on care instructions, it should be precise. Read more

The recommended safe temperature is 260°C which is found on the product page and packaging, it is encouraged that you do not exceed this.
The reason why the pan is oven safe "up to" 260°C is usually that a lot more heat is contained and reproduced in the oven.
However, on the stovetop, it will 100% be safe on high heat to 260°C.

I was so excited when I got this pan.
It worked so well in the beginning and then a couple of months after use stuff started sticking. We did everything right; washed with a soft sponge, used silicone tools and oiled the pan.
It's not 11 months later and I have to buy a new pan.

I received this as a Christmas gift, the pan started sticking within 8 months (2-year warranty) sent the pan back with evidence of food still stuck to it.
Yuppiechef sent the pan away for inspection, all they did was clean it and sent it back to me stating the pan is in "PERFECT" working condition, needless to say, the pan is still sticking.
Funny how I was advised to add a tablespoon of oil to a nonstick pan every time I fry an egg. So much for using less oil to cook food.
I have always followed operating/cleaning instructions and used the pan as intended. Read more

I bought this after our old pan of many years gave up the ghost; a nice reminder that there really is nothing better than a brand new frying pan, making every task super simple. Clean up is a breeze too. If I'm honest, it scratches a little too easily for my liking, especially around the edges.

I have tried non-stick pans before and they've never been particularly good. This pan is REALLY good! I use it almost every night, it cooks everything brilliantly and the only thing I need to clean it with is a sponge and mild soap.

There are few basics you need in a kitchen. One of them is a decent solid frying pan. This pan is just that. Solid handle feel and performs beautifully in the non-stick area. It does lack a lid, so I purchased a R150 glass and rubber lid from Checkers. It does the trick. Looking forward to the day I can afford a smaller version, kinda like a baby sister ;)

This product get's the job done, on the stove and in the oven. The non-stick coating is good & it works. While there is talk of a cast-aluminium base, it's not that resilient to side impact, for example if you accidentally drop it on tiles.

Good quality non-stick frying pan, with metal handle and can be transferred from the stove top to the oven.
Non-stick coating works perfectly now — I'll have to wait and see how it wears. I bought it because it was voted No. 1 by a popular magazine, and it is more affordable than similar pans of a good quality.

Out of the box the pan is very hydrophobic and has great non-stick properties thus far. Will have to see how long it lasts. My previous non-stick pan was great for about 8 years.
It has a bit of a wobble, the second-worst out of my four pans even though it is the most expensive by a considerable margin.

This is the pan you want for making creamy, soft scrambled eggs; Sunday morning flapjacks; a fiery arrabbiata pasta sauce and anything that requires medium to low heat.
Treat non-stick with respect and it will love you back. Don't attempt to sear a steak on high heat, or use it for stir fry. Carbon Steel or Cast Iron are your friends for that. I've had mine for 2 years now and still works like a bomb. Read more

I absolutely love my Sagenwolf 28cm non-stick pan with glass lid! The non-stick surface is truly non-stick and makes cooking and cleaning up a breeze.

It's rather small, the 20 cm advertised is the outer dimension so the inside, cooking surface is only about 16 cm. But otherwise, a lovely product looks good, cooks well and is easy to clean.

I've had many frying pans over the years, and this is the best one by far. The 24cm circumference fits perfectly on my stove plate. It retains the same temperature throughout the cooking process and distributes the heat evenly. So easy to clean as it's non-stick and requires only a small amount of fat. If you take good care of it — it should last a very long time.

I just christened the pan with the mandatory fried eggs, rashers, and tomatoes. Performs effortlessly! Even heat distribution, with no hotspots. I especially like this handle! It's even more comfortable than the one on my Scanpan. Nice weight to it too. The side walls and base are a good thickness, not like the paper thin walls you find on budget pans you find at every supermarket and hyper.

Do yourself a favour and AVOID buying those budget pans. We have about 6 of them in our kitchen graveyard! Rather invest in a pan with thick walls and base. This is important when the metal is aluminium, as it's a very soft metal. Budget pans go concave and wobble after a while and deform easily — I can bang out dents with my hand. You also need a thick base so that the pan is always in contact with the heat source, and to give stability to the pan at heat. A thick base also retains heat better.
So this pan ticks all these boxes. Time will tell as to how good the non-stick coating is. I'll come back — hopefully I remember in a year to give you my verdict on how well the coating stood up to regular use.

These pans have now seen a little over a month's use and so far I cannot fault them. They're sturdy and well made and the non-stick coating is great — with careful use and care when cleaning, I'm sure that they will last for quite some time still.
The heat distribution is great and frying anything from meat to eggs or veggies, is nice and even, so I can't even complain there. The best part is that my Le Creuset lids fit perfectly on them, as I had to replace the LC pans after a few years and decided on the Sagenwolf pans to do so, due to the price. Read more

This is a great non-stick pan and makes the best eggs, but it scratches quite easily. I only use plastic spatulas, yet it still has light scratches. I would suggest using silicone spatulas instead. I would still recommend it.
