Amazing pan.
Needed to replace a non-stick pan and am tired of handles breaking off. This pan is excellent for frying eggs, vegetables, pancakes, flapjacks, and more!
Completely nonstick and cleans easily and still looks good after usage. Can highly recommend it.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Took getting used to — but loving this pan now!
I purchased the Sagen Wolf stainless steel pan (28cm) because I was tired of non-stick pans losing their Teflon coating over time. The first time I used it, I attempted to fry eggs — but it was a disaster. I burned them so badly that I needed special chemicals to clean the pan properly.
This unfortunate outcome happened several more times with different dishes. Initially, I blame Read more

Looks great.
The test of a nonstick pan is whether you can fry an egg and you can't in this pan, which is a shame as it's great for everything else and looks stunning.
I wanted stainless steel because I'm fed up with Teflon coming off on other nonstick pans. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I had to buy another pan to fry eggs in!

We're so sorry for this, frying eggs on a stainless steel pan is notoriously tricky but we hope these tips can help you get the perfect fried egg on your Sagenwolf:
1. Place the pan on medium heat and allow it to heat up for a few minutes. You can test the heat by splashing a few drops of water onto the pan. The pan is ready if the water “dances” across the pan, sizzles and beads up. This is known as the Leidenfrost Effect
2. If the water immediately separates into tiny beads, it is too hot so you should lower the heat and let the pan cool off
3. Once the pan is hot, add a small amount of oil or butter to the pan. This will help prevent the eggs from sticking to the pan.
You can use any type of oil or butter, but it’s best to use a high smoke point oil like avocado oil or ghee. You only need a small amount, enough for a thin layer to coat the bottom of the pan
4. Once the fat is shimmering, reduce the heat to low. This will help ensure that the egg cooks gently and evenly.
Next, hold the bowl close to the pan’s surface and carefully slide the egg onto the pan. Avoid dropping the egg from a height, as this may cause the yolk to break or the egg whites to spread too much.
Once the eggs are in the pan, you can add a pinch of salt, pepper or seasoning. Let them cook for a few minutes without disturbing them. Depending on the type of eggs you want, cooking times will vary

So disappointed.
I'm so disappointed with this purchase, and feel that I have wasted my money. I was advised that this stainless steel frying pan was a good option for cooking on gas, and when the pan was on the heat for a period of time, everything seems to stick to the pan — even with a healthy layer of oil. It takes me longer to clean the pan than it does to fry my food. I would not buy this item again!
