Care Instructions
How to get the most out of your new Sagenwolf knife:
- Maintain your knives through regular honing
- A total angle of 40 degrees (18-20 degrees each side) is recommended when sharpening the knife
-
- To sharpen your Sagenwolf knives, we recommend using either the Humble & Mash Pull-Through Knife Sharpener
- Or a whetstone — using the rough side first (to do coarse sharpening) and then the refined side (for fine sharpening)
- If surface rust occurs on the blade, use Scotch-Brite to wipe the rust mark on the blade
- Dishwasher safe, however, hand wash is recommended.
- Clean and dry your knives directly after use
- Don't soak your knives in water for any length of time
- Never use your knives to open tins or jars
- Don't directly cut on glass, stainless steel or granite surfaces — wooden/bamboo and plastic cutting surfaces are recommended
- Store knives safely in the Sagenwolf Carbon Series Knife Block, in a drawer knife holder or on a magnetic knife strip
Warranty Info
Sagenwolf knives have a 5-year guarantee and will be replaced after thorough inspection if there are any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty assumes proper care, maintenance and intended use of the knives.
