This blender does what it says, and basically just works really well. I use it to make smoothies and frequently use frozen fruit and leafy vegetables like kale, and it blends everything without problems.

Really good, sturdy blender. Makes short work of blending smoothies and crushing ice. Easy to disassemble and clean, too. Initially thought it was bigger than what we needed it for, but the bigger jug is great for blending large quantities of soup.

Perfect for the everyday smoothie! The jug is durable (a little on the heavy side) but great size for more than one person. More silent than your average blender and very aesthetically pleasing on a counter top. I haven't tried crushing ice yet (for all you frozen margarita lovers that are wondering)

In love with my Russell Hobbs Satin jug blender! Not only is it a stylish addition to your kitchen top, it also makes delicious smoothies in seconds. I was looking for a blender with a decent size jug and I have found it. And the best of all is that it can also crush ice. Worth every cent.

It's really only meant for casual liquid blending. If the contents that you're blending are predominantly solid, you'll struggle to get it all blended properly; usually, you're left with a lot of finely chopped material, and a lot of big chunks sitting on top, too far away from the blades to be incorporated. I overheated and blew the motor while trying to make tahini.

This blender is much stronger than others I have owned. The glass jar is thick, the plastic ring is strong and the suction caps for the base are a welcome addition. Highly recommended. I bought a second one for my son.

Good product. Great feature that the lid's measuring cup can be removed during operation so that food items can be added when the motor is running. But buyers should know in advance that the motor should not be run for 2 minutes continuously, or on pulse setting, due to risk of overheating, and not for more than 60 seconds if the mixture is dry, thick or heavy.

This is a great machine, it works excellently.

The button pushes to the side a tad difficult but once you're used to it then there are no problems.
