Russell Hobbs Milk Foamer

I love this machine. It does an excellent job in heating and frothing all types of milk. We use it every day to make delicious warm drinks. It is super easy to use and clean.

I have bought a few different makes of frother as they all seem to last a year but this one takes the cake for the most noisy — sounds like a diesel engine — really loud! Will be interesting to see how long it lasts...

This milk frother is fine. The type of fine a luke-warn glass of water is fine after exercise. It does its job of frothing milk, but it could be improved if it had two elements:
1. An automated timer — this I think would result in the best (frothed) milk so you don't have to guess when to stop it and drink perhaps cooler milk than you would like, and
2. If it were quieter — my guests are no doubt going to wake up when I grind the coffee, but if not, they sure will do so when the milk frother is on.
If the two points above don't worry you, then buy away cause the milk is good once you have identified what works best for you. Read more

What a lovely little machine. It does everything it stipulates. What is great is that the machine will switch off when heating/frothing, etc.

Has reached its desired peak. It hardly makes a noise (from previous reviews I read). If it does, it is soft - nothing that would bug you.

If you are looking for a great machine to do all 4 (froth, cool, baby & heat) - then this is the product for you. Read more

The surface on the inside of the jug has worn away after only a few months. I'm not going to use this product anymore for fear of ending up with bits of metal in my milk. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Although the design seemed clever at first (a separate jug from the heater) and worked well in the beginning, after four months the handle lost its grip. The plastic must have softened or melted from the heat, although I’m not sure how, as I used it myself and only under normal conditions. A malfunction can happen, so I went to my Yuppiechef store at Whale Coast Mall, Hermanus, to show them the problem. They said they would send it to the manufacturer, and only then would I receive an answer as to whether I could get a replacement or a refund.

If the handle had held, I would have liked to get the same model again. Three weeks and several emails and phone calls later, there is still no update from the manufacturer, nor has Yuppiechef contacted me. I find it unacceptable to be treated like this as a loyal customer, which has forced me to leave a review here. I’m very unsatisfied with Yuppiechef’s after-sales service. Read more

Yes I like the frother, however, I prefer the frother from another brand as it froths the milk more. (the froth is thicker / has a firmer consistency). This is the first time I have bought from Yuppiechef and I will certainly use you again. Thank you.
