Riedel's answer to the perfect champagne glass was to tweak the white wine glass for champagne drinkers. Riedel's Veritas Series was designed to be the finest, thinnest, and lightest collection of machine blown glasses, yet with the durability for everyday use and the ability to go in dishwashers. With a wider bowl than a flute, tapered rim, and the tiny grooved sparkling point, Riedel created etching in its bowl to help form a stream of bubbles.
