Clumsily made and way too bitter
This is a very crude preserve: massive (3cm thick) slices of extremely bitter orange in a thin sugar syrup. The inelegantly cut fruit and the unpeeled ginger in the watery syrup, suggest either cutting corners or lack of culinary craft. That presumably also explains why the fruit wasn't cooked sufficiently to thicken the syrup or temper the bitterness of the orange peel.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Inedible!
The only thing vaguely nice is the ornamental spoon. It is inedible, unfortunately I had a bite and I the unpleasant after taste is still lingering. It's not properly preserved, thick skin, loads of pips, non existent ginger — the worst preserve I've bought. Bye bye R85. To the manufacturer, please improve your product or stop producing it.
