Tips and tricks for use:

Fill up to the the fill line - if the liquid level is too low, the carbonating spout won't reach the liquid
Make sure you lock the bottle into the carbonating cap - push it up so the locking protrusions fit in, then twist it until it locks into place, then push the whole thing so that it sits vertically
Push the fizz button on top as many times as you like to get your desired level of fizz, but stop and wait if your beverage foams and wait for the foaming to subside
Remove the whole bottle and carbonating cap from the machine, then lift the silver tab on the front of the carbonating cap to release pressure safely. The large tab is a slow release valve and the small one a fast release. Use the slow release for very foamy beverages
Once the pressure has been released, you will be able to unscrew the bottle from the carbonating cap
Use the bottle cap to store your carbonated drinks in the fridge

Care Instructions

Wipe with a soft cloth and handwash bottle only
Fill to the line so the spout reaches the liquid
Lock the bottle securely into the cap before carbonating
Choose fizz level (1–4) and press the fizz button until satisfied
Pause if foaming occurs and wait for it to settle
Release pressure using the silver tab
- Large tab = slow release valve
- Small tab = fast release valve (use slow release for very foamy drinks)
Unscrew bottle once pressure is released
Cap and store in the fridge

Warranty Info

This product comes with a 1-year warranty
Using another brand of gas canister will void the warranty

I loved my BIBO Fizz until I needed to replace the CO2 canister. If you live in Cape Town the only way to exchange the BIBO Fizz CO2 canister is to place an online order. It's R210 to exchange (a courier picks up the empty canister) or R310 for a new canister but you have to pay R115 delivery fee and it takes 4 to 6 days to deliver the new canister to Cape Town. Easy to use. Love the two-valve feature and the fact that it's compatible with the Sodastream CO2 60l cylinder as this makes it convenient to get refills quicker at a nearby store. I do recommend ordering extra water bottles to rotate through.

This product is so fantastic in the way it allows you to put a fizz in wine, juice, flat drinks and even iced coffee. A level of caution is still necessary, even for this modern-looking drink maker. Definitely not extremely child-friendly, especially if sugar-content drinks are in the mix, but a wonderful, affordable and fun gadget for your kitchen. #YCReviewClub

I recently tried out the BIBO Fizz Bar Sparkling Drink Maker and now I'm saving up to buy my own. I love the fact that it can fizz liquids other than water thanks to the pressure release valve. The BIBO also has such a small footprint and is compatible with other mainstream brand cylinders. I tried some apple juice that got fizzed with this handy little machine and I'm hooked. Unlike some of the competing products in this range, the Bibo fizz bar can fizz up juices, even juice with pulp in it which is great for healthy drinks with a bit of fizz. The bubbles are quite fine making the fizzy juices delicious.

If you're used to conventional soda pop makers, this will blow your mind. A slow-release valve in the bottle allows you to carbonate not only water but also juices, sugary beverages, your wine and more. I consider myself baffled, and cannot wait to acquire one of these for my home.

I previously bought a Sodastream to put back the fizz in the all the wasted soft drinks we throw down the drain each week. As any Sodastream owner probably knows it doesn't work, you can only carbonate plain water with it.
With the Bibo you can re-carbonate flat soft drinks successfully.

I agonised about whether to buy this or the more traditional alternative. But in the end I was sold on being able to fizz drinks and not only water.
So far we are very pleased by our choice - it's easy to use, creates lovely bubbly water and fizzes fruit juices and the like. It also looks amazing, as do the bottles. I bought an extra cartridge so that I have plenty of time to order a replacement.

My husband loves the BIBO Fizz Bar which was a birthday gift. It's easy to use with the detachable lid which simply clicks back in place. Being able to fizz any liquid (with no pulp) is a nice feature and was the reason I chose this option. The machine doesn't need to be plugged in making it easier to move outdoors or even take along.

Bibo is simply way better than the others, and believe me, I've tried them! Fizzes water better, but more importantly revives the last quarter of a 2 litre bottle of cooldrink that has gone flat perfectly. Service from Bibo is also first class!

This is a delightful upgrade on the well-known carbonator. We have tried carbonating fruit juices (no pulp) and they taste amazing.

It is sometimes difficult to ascertain when the carbonation is ready but it is easy to add in extra if not fizzy enough.
