Very precise and accurate utensil. I am always baking and using normal cups to measure, so having purchased this OXO Measuring jug is a breeze. All my dry and wet ingredients can be viewed and measured from top, no more looking on the side.

I really enjoy this little thing. Being able to see my measurements from the top - such a simple concept but so effective. Really accurate as well, I'm keen to buy the other sizes sometime :)

I love my jug but I bought the 2 cup measuring jug thinking that I wouldn't need bigger. I have since realised that when making soups stock normally calls for 1 L (+ more) and I could have bought the 4 cup jug! Next on my purchase list :)

Love this jug's unique inner design mostly for measuring liquids — easy to read without bending to counter level to confirm volume. I have washed in my dishwasher with no problem.

The design is genius - but beware: in mine the measurements on the inside do not match those on the outside. The outside is correct as confirmed by weighing 250ml of water. (There are numerous reviews online that confirm this is a common problem.)

So if accuracy is crucial, you have to double-check the measurement, negating the utility of the clever design.

Also, one of mine has gone cloudy. Not sure if that is from the dishwasher or corrosive (acidic?) ingredients. Read more

I previously reviewed this product. It is very good for measuring but the quality is disappointing. It's supposed to be dishwasher safe but I have found that mine has become cloudy with mini cracks in it when washed in the dishwasher...
