The OXO Good Grips Cherry & Olive Pitter has a pressure-absorbing, non-slip grip that makes pitting even a pie’s worth of fruit, effortless. A splatter shield protects your work area and clothing from messy juices and removes them for easy cleaning. This sturdy, die-cast zinc Pitter has a generous holder that accommodates large cherries like Bing and Rainier as well as a recessed design that secures smaller varieties of cherries and olives.

I've pitted about 6kg of cherries already, and the pitter works great. It's build is sturdy and ergonomic, and the splash guard works great.

This cherry / olive pitter is efficient and does what it is supposed to do, but there is a technique to placing the fruit on the strike plate, but it is just a matter of practice. A little bit fiddly with the ''spatterguard'', but again it is just a matter of practice makes perfect.

I am satisfied with this product. It removes the olive pip with ease. It sits nicely in my hand and does not need much effort to squeeze the pip out. I did 50 olives with ease.

The plastic "splatter cup" is so useful. We initially thought it was a bit of a gimmick — but we can now pip cherries without splattering on the kitchen walls. As usual for OXO Good Grips — this tool is robust; easy to use; and the handle is non-slip.
