Loving my new kettle! Especially the temperature control - really handy when making my toddler some tea - you dont have to add extra milk to cool the water down - the temp is perfect when set by the water temp control.

I'd gladly recommend this product. It has great functionality with the variable temperature settings; the double-wall allows for great insulation keeping the water warmer for longer periods and the temperature gauge is a great plus and spot-on. It's sturdy yet light and easy enough to handle.

We love our kettle. It looks stylish and the red colour gives you a smile in the mornings. Just turn it to 95 for boiling point. At 100 it boils too long. Highly recommended. Xx

Definitely worth the splurge. Lifetime investment. My kitchen countertops have never looked better. Also purchased the matching 4 slice toaster from another store to complete the pair. Looking forward to building on my collection. Highly recommended.

All I can say is that this cutie got me painting a part of my kitchen and adding a wall paper...it is too beautiful. The ntiiiing sound has me wanting to boil water all the time, just to hear it. Am happy with my kettle.

We’ve had our kettle for over 11 years and it’s been well-used. Only now are we thinking of replacing it as it’s starting to leak a bit.

We live on a farm and our water is very harsh. A normal kettle normally lasted only 2-3 years before we needed to replace it.

Best value for money.

There is nothing wrong with the kettle, it is a fantastic product until you need to have it repaired.
I sent them a mint condition kettle to replace the temperature gauge, what a mistake.
It cost me almost R1000 to have a R123.00 part replaced.
The worst part of all was when I received my "repaired" kettle. It looks like something that was picked up in the trash. I am not buying or having any KitchenAid product repaired again!!!

After 18 months of use I had issues where the kettle would not boil. Note we were very cautious about the correct water level and only used the kettle for domestic use.
I contacted Yuppiechef and 1.5 months later Yuppiechef sent a replacement. The new kettle does not switch off....it continues to boil and I have to switch the kettle off. This is one of the most expensive kettles on the site. It is very disappointing to find that two kettles have had issues.
My toaster and mixer are Kitchen aid so changing brands would not work in my kitchen.
I did not expect kitchen aid to be a poor-quality brand.

For those wondering if it's any good: I've tested the functionality of it with thermal imaging and sensors and it is exceptionally good. It was pretty much bang on with all of its temperature settings, only being out with one degree at most. So it truly is the tea lover's dream kettle. For the rest of it, it checks all the boxes. The outside stays below 50 degrees with the double wall so you can hold it. It's sturdy, good looking, fast and quiet. Really awesome product. Read more

This kettle looks very nice - but frankly, it has been pretty disappointing. My previous Philips kettle was more beautiful and worked perfectly for more than 10 years. The lid of this no longer opens. It seems to be on all the time (light on the base). It also doesn't switch off when it boils for ages, even if you adjust the temperature down.

I think in the future, I will only buy Bosch - well priced and reliable. Read more
