Care Instructions
- Don't put the block in the dishwasher or leave it soaking in water for too long
- Apply mineral oil to the surface of the block once a month to prevent drying out
- Sanitise your cutting board by wiping surface down with mild dish soap and water
- Use a good steel scraper or spatula as necessary to keep the cutting surface clean and sanitary
- Don't use a razor edged cleaver on the block as it will chip or splinter the wood and produce soft spots, using a dull sharpened edge is best

I want an entire counter of this!
It's a lovely, sturdy, heavy butcher's block. It's plenty big enough to cut up three or four type of veggies and leave the piles there for adding to the food. I added some rubber nobs to the bottom to keep it from sliding. Now it's permanently on my counter and perpetually in use. I wish I could buy one double the size!

Great chopping board
I recently purchased this chopping board and not only is it beautiful, it is a really good size. Try the oil with it to keep it nicely maintained and its looks as good as new.
