We recently had to replace our old brush attachment, which was probably more than ten years old. With two ladies and two dogs in the house, the poor thing simply wore out eventually. I must say the new Turbo Brush seems to suck better than the old one ever did. With two long haired cats and a golden retriever in the house, this brush works very well on carpets — but if you have tassels on them — don't go near or they will get chewed. On tiles and wood laminate I found that it shoots bits back at you. Cutting hair out of the brush is a bit awkward too.
