We buy cheese in bulk as we are quite far from the nearest supermarket. Keeping cheese fresh has always been a bit of a challenge as we do not like to freeze. This container is the answer to a maiden's prayer. A generous 4 liter, see-through airtight container. Keeps all our various cheeses beautifully fresh and you can see at a glance what you have in it. If your fridge is rather small you may find it takes up a lot of space and perhaps Yuppiechef could consider stocking the smaller 2-liter version. Read more

The box is quite big and can easily take 2-3 300g blocks of cheeses if piled on top of each other! The 'defrost' tray does help but I have noticed vapours on the inside sometimes because the lid is not fully airtight — at least it doesn't feel tight.
It has definitely helped to keep my cheese blocks for a longer period of time as before they'd start growing mould within a week.

I have used it for 2 weeks now and the hard cheese stays as is. No condensation, no mould. would buy a bigger one next time, although this one takes the large block of cheese sold in the supermarkets.

Being someone who used to store left-over cheese in ziplock bags all over the fridge, this has been a life-changer for me! Cheese stays fresh, is all neatly kept in one place, and seeing my classy cheese-box every time I open the fridge makes me smile. I love this product!

I have been looking for this cheese box all my life. It is perfect for our needs and fits a good variety of different cheeses. The lid closes well and moisture tray (anti-condensation tray) ensures the cheese stays fresh.

We eat a lot of cheese and it has always been a hassle with trying to keep cheese from going hard once you've opened a packet. I really did not expect this box to work as well as it does. It is the perfect size as well. Takes more than just one block of cheese and it just happens to fit into my fridge's cheese tray in the door.
Good product and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Received the product and the lid didn't seal like I expected it to - seemed to just slide on but didn't seem airtight.

A week later my block of cheese was mouldy in the fridge...And, it's not a cheap item so expected much more.

I really like this dedicated cheese box - you can see what you have and the cheese stays fresh for ages!

I am guilty of getting overly excited about different types of cheese, buying them all, eating some and then forgetting about them.

This box keeps them fresh and mould-free until I suddenly remember that they exist again!
