It can also increase the risk of exposure to infections, affecting those with respiratory conditions and allergies. The Meaco Deluxe 202 Humidifier not only keeps the air humid and clean, the humidified air you breathe in has also been sterilised by an ultraviolet lamp, prior to humidification. Running a humidifier in hard water areas can be an issue due to the build-up of calcium carbonate deposits. With this in mind, the Deluxe 202 comes with a large limescale filter to help soften the water before humidification.

Great option for baby / kids room!
We purchased this for our toddlers room as she is an allergy sufferer and the Johannesburg dry air doesn't help her with that!
- It is very quiet, sometimes I forget that it's on.
- It's easy to clean (which can be a hack with other humidifiers).
- It has a night mode which turns all the control lights off (another must have for a little ones room).

Disappointing.
I had hoped that this humidifier would be the answer to my problems. However it's disappointing — its capacity in a large bedroom is inadequate and the fragrance diffuser does not work. It was expensive and i wouldn't recommend it. My sister has a model half the price and size and a much better output with a great fragrance dispenser— I would return it if i could.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.
